universal wanderer
Universal journey of Tathagata
This odyssey is told as the story of the universal wanderer, who comes and goes with the turning of the wheel of life and death. The journey starts in the instinct-bound village life, where the journey-man meets the female in her witch-aspect. From the village he moves towards the mountain summit in search of a spiritual home.
On the way he crosses different realms, which depict rational and emotional aspects of human life. After suffering in the hands of the luciferian man in the "village", he enters the forest, where destiny operates. There he encounters the female as the muses of arts, literature and music, while the characters from reality, myth and dream intermingle. As a play of the destiny, the beauty, whom he has been searching, makes him blind. After turning blind when he wishes to escape the realm of the forest , Angel (in the disguise of Devil) appears as his guide.
He receives an inner sight from the Angel, who takes him in a cosmic journey. At the end , realizing the meaning of compassion and love, that suffuse all, he wishes to return to life again. They return after many centuries have passed and land on a "city on the hill", sprawling with "cyber-villagers". There he confronts the devil of science and technology, who is aspiring to dominate the world as a superman. After roaming in the city, and discussing the questions of moral and ethics with his guide, he arrives at the marketplace. He mingles with the crowd of cyber-villagers and listens to the hermit from the mountain delivering the "First Sermon" in the marketplace. Receiving wisdom from the hermit he leaves the marketplace and goes towards the mountain. Along the mountain path he conducts a dialogue with his guide about the spiritual nature of the world and the will.
Arriving at the summit, he "sees" the one, who is being guided, and the one, who is his guide, as ONE: The mortal and the Divine worlds merge as one in the universal wanderer, Tathagata (Thus Come and Thus Gone One), who is Buddha himself. After receiving enlightenment on the summit and realizing the nature of God, the mortal wanderer follows his Divine guide towards the spheres of life again, where the female inspires and enchants as goddess as well as witch, and the male is her mortal counterpart, whom Prometehus created. The male is also Orphus, the priest of Apollo, who is seeking salvation through meditation and contemplation. While they descend towards the "village", Tathagata teaches the monks, the mountain climbers, and the pilgrims about the enlightened way.
