Vampire and Goddess
Lifes Goddess and Deaths Vampire
Where the Romans and the Greeks had started their journey towards the shores as destined by fate,
As the night approaches and the death is ringing its knell,
Demons, ghosts, ominous spirits, are speeding through the ruins and caves,
The Aegean birds are flaping their wings , as if, the harpies of the island of death,
A fear is spreading through the mind bringing omen of trouble and storm,
In the waves the secret of the tumultuous passions are being born,
In the brute pride of the victorious eyes, that lower the height of the sky ,
Blood , flame, war, vengeance , terror are crossing the memory sunk in murder, massacre, and cry.
O beauty of dream !
The timeless world's veneration in the spiritual stream!
The finest statue that no hands can carve,
The vision of the spheres that no forms can encompass,
Whom Michalengelo, Titian, Ruben, and Rembrandt have touched with brush,
When you draw man to love,
The finest warrior turns into beasts of lust,
In your astonishing power the sailors fail to steer the sails and the masts,
And fall in a trap like a deer following the scents of the musk.
In lines drawn with rays,
Where poets, musicians and artists see diamond in blaze,
While strokes of the lucent touch in the depth with a loving care,
Spreads in the breast a breathless air,
In search of nectar from the earth-bound mind,
While the birds of paradise stoop down from clouds and wind,
O loving queen!
Poets are lifted with your beam,
That emanates from a realm where there is no Heaven or Hell,
And fills the heart with an unspeakable spell.
O beauty!
Unredeemable joy, pain and truth!
The triumphant heroes horror tomb!
Murder, crime, and kindled heart's infernal gloom!
Stinking lifes lecherous whore!
Spreading in the heart obnoxious fumes,
Like drones, seeking love, you bring mortals to their doom.
While the lips kiss to awaken flare,
The drunkard's jug lulls minds wind and air,
You are life's goddess and death's vampire.
To conquer your love the warriors run with arms to kill,
Where clang and clamour make love's deadly appeal.
Amidst clashing arms in a screaming field,
Where like looming giants, the flaming torches the ramparts lick,
And like stalking ghosts the pillars reek,
When in the temple of the Cytherian goddess Helen her lovers seeks,
Phoebe's arrows pierce the limbs,
Blind in love , shouting in pain and yelling scream,
In anguish Achilles dreams love's treacherous dream.
O beauty ! while the fiery heroes blood thirsty beasts,
Like the boar of Ares make man swim in wine and feast,
You beguile and corrupt by offering drink and meat,
Singing in a voice loving and sweet !
With naked belly's charming dance you arouse the suitors to their warring feet !
With lascivious mind's infalliable power you create their bane,
O life's goddess and death's treacherous flame!
While the blood from the dismembered body of Deiphobus rill ,
Menelaus returns in his palace behind the Pallas' hill,
In the shinning bed when he dreams of Helen's love and flesh,
O Beauty ! love's fiery Hell!
In your treacherous game even Achilles dreams to sleep with the beauteous dame,
And along the wall of Troy succumbs to death as a lion beguiled and tamed.
O beauty ! on the lavish bed ,
Where you entertained Paris and invited the dreadful wrath of Melenaus who to win his lover fought with hate,
Lethe's fire controls evil as destined by fate.
As an unfaithful spouse you are lascivious heart's cave and ruin,
The charred heart's shinning queen,
With unceasing passion in the naked breast,
You are Stygian river's burning fire where journeyman may fall in loves teacherous arrest.
While you glow in wealth decorated with pearls, gold and gems,
In Ileum's fertile field, where lush flowers spangle in mead,
The ships draw on the shore and the warriors disembark their steeds,
Where horses and heroes amass gloom with wars' threat,
Coaching on the chariot harnessed by the finest steeds,
You welcome flames that kindle cities as loves stygian game.
O bejewelled dame !
While you watch without feeling any shame ,
Your suitors are thrown into pyres lighted by the flame.
You , Menelaus' spouse, Paris' lover, Diphobus' mistress, Achilles' love in dream!
Within the walls of Troy lascivious debauchery in the Trojan lover's home!
Clytamnestra's and Pollux's sister, Theseus' rape of the princess of the Spartan throne!
You are beauty's ambiguous joy ,
That captivates and destroys!
Committs crimes and employs treacheries that love can deploy.
O queen of beauty !
You are perfumes and obnoxious flower of eternity,
Mortal worlds beauty and obscenity!
When the shinning day comes to its close,
The glimmering light in trembling tides plunge as shipwreck in the shore that in my vision rose,
Where under a starry dome Odysseus wanders alone,
I see Agamemnon sailing towards his home,
Aeanea, guided by the stars, is sailing to Latium where his descendants will found the empire of Rome.
Destiny does not allow the voyagers to settle in the shore they may near,
Their ships wreck before they arrive and thrown back by the waves as they try to reach to land with pain and tear.
From the foothill of Phrygria,
Where along a path lined with growing thicket of cornel and myrtle stems,
Aeanea had fled from Troy aflame,
Voyagers seek shores with unknown names.
High on sea, surrounded by mountains ,
While fiery wind kneels on mast,
The brazen plated oars churn the water and throw on the eyes salt and dust,
Neptune's trident leaves the vessel floating just by luck,
This is the way the destiny engages the sailors before crushing them after the laborious tasks.
